Birth Ball 30 - Your In-Home Workout!
It’s here! It’s here!
We are so excited!
We are super excited about being able to offer this class option for moms-to-be. It’s especially helpful to those who are taking Prep4Birth™ (formerly known as Birth Ball Basics) with an instructor. This video will help you keep on track with the exercises in preparation for your birth. You will be able to access BB30 for your daily practice from the comfort of your own home. The movements are suitable for any level of fitness and stage of pregnancy and feel “simply amazing'“ according to the participants.
Here’s a sneak peek! Get pumped!
Did you know that studies show that mothers who regularly participate in an exercise program improve their childbirth self-efficacy and a feeling of well-being during their pregnancy!
You will be guided through a 30-minute daily practice of strengthening and stretching exercises using the birth ball to prepare you both physically and mentally for your vaginal or cesarean birth.
Yup! I just said cesarean birth!
Some people think that if they are having a cesarean birth that they don’t need to prepare… quite the opposite! You will need to navigate the experience of abdominal surgery and recover from that. Your body has carried the weight of your baby, placenta and amniotic fluid for 9 months. Your pelvic floor and abdominals feel that! Women who have stayed active and fit during their pregnancies usually have a better recovery - no matter what exit strategy baby takes! The cool thing is that using the Birth Ball during pregnancy has actually been shown to have many benefits for ALL moms.
So… how is this different from 4TFM’s Birth Ball Basics Clinic?
Great question! Actually, BB30 is a perfect companion for Prep4Birth™ and came from P4B participants requesting an at-home video to help them remember the exercises they learned during the clinic.
You asked for this & We listened!
P4B is a 3-hour clinic in which you will learn these exercises but also relaxation techniques, smart resting tips, evidence based tactics for managing the common discomforts of pregnancy, birth plan development, new baby care and so much more. All in just 3 hours! Check out one of the clinics which are taught virtually and in person!
From strength to coping skills to stretching
It’s all here!
We are pretty pumped about this offering and hope that you are, too. Check it out!
